We had a fantastic stay at Sundown Guest House! The location was perfect, situated in a great area of town with plenty of amenities nearby. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the bedding was super comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious South African breakfast that got our day off to a great start. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. we highly recommend this hotel for its value for money and excellent facilities.

This two bedroom self-catering apartment at Sundown Guest House Maputo was amazing! It had a spacious layout with comfy beds and a nice seating area. The flat-screen TV and free WiFi were a plus. The private bathroom was clean, and the deep soaking bathtub was a nice touch. it made our stay very enjoyable.

The only downside for me was that there wasn't an option for an extra twin bed in the apartment. However, some people might not mind this at all.

The breakfast offered a good variety and was tasty. The beds in the rooms were comfortable for long stay. The location was convenient for a business trip as it was close to the city center and important facilities.

The shower was not well maintained and needed repairs. The WiFi in some areas of the hotel was weak and unreliable, making it difficult to work from the room.

Good sized room, absolutely great setting. The hotel itself was in a quiet area. Plus, we were 15 mins by foot from Jardim Dona Berta. Lots of amazing food, we loved it

The guest house is located in a peaceful area near embassies, making it convenient for travelers. The spacious and well-decorated rooms have good lighting, comfortable beds and even come with a TV with DSTV channels. The staff are friendly and the owner is always present to offer help and engage in conversations with guests. The stable Wi-Fi connection is an added advantage for business travelers.

We enjoyed the breakfast, which included real French-press coffee or espresso, eggs, and bacon. The hotel facilities were ideal, with stable Wi-Fi and good air conditioning. Additionally, the hotel organized transportation to Inhaca island, which made it easy for us to explore this city.

I recently stayed at Sundown Guest House in Maputo and I was impressed with the value for money. The location was perfect, with a park across the road and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, especially Denis who greeted us personally and gave us helpful recommendations.

As for breakfast offerings, it would have been better if there were more options or flexibility for early departures like ours. We had to leave at 6:00 am and unfortunately, the staff only arrived at 6:30 am, resulting in us leaving without having a proper breakfast.

Sundown Guest House is a gem! The rooms are spacious - clean, and the beds are super comfortable. Located in a great area - it's close to Inhaca island and offers local insights. The staff are friendly and accommodating - making you feel right at home. Plus - their South African breakfast is a must-try!

Spending New Year’s Eve at this comfortable Guest House was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcomed. The location was perfect, with a lovely park nearby, and the rooms were spacious, well-decorated and clean. we loved the excellent coffee and strong Wi-Fi signal.

Although the breakfast was tasty, we were disappointed that some dishes arrived cold and the eggs were sometimes not cooked to our liking. Sadly, some rooms encountered problems with warm water.
